About the Author

The handle I go with here, as I do in a lot of other places is Emperor J. The name comes from a little inside joke having to do with titles on subscription cards for magazines (Mr./Mrs./Archduke/etc.). I don’t exactly represent the youth movement as far as anime watching. I’m 25 for god’s sake.

I also have this innate ability to avoid hype while watching a show. For example, I did not even realize The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya was popular until about 3 months after it stopped airing. This ability also has it’s consequence in that I seem to miss a lot of good series until years after they air.

As you may come to notice in my blog posts I do have other areas of interest outside of anime and manga. The title itself is a reference to soccer and the least interesting portion of a league table. As such, you will see references to various figures and teams in the game which will undoubtedly fly over your head. Additionally, I majored in Sociology, Political Science and History during my foray in college (it earned me a thick piece of paper too), so some references from there will also get thrown out. Anything else that is hard to comprehend will come from out of the left field that is my mind as much as you think it will.
